About
My PhD research is with men who advertise to sell sex to men. My data comes from interviewing men who sell sex in magazines and in online social spaces and an analysis of the advertisements and profiles themselves.
My other research interests are in men's body image. Some of my previous research forms the basis of an ongoing research project at mental health charity PACE, where I am an advisor on their study of risk and resilience in mental health for LGBT people.
I lecture and teach courses on Sexualities and Qualitative Research Methods at LSBU as well as guest lecturing at other universities.
